Hi everyone, my name is Teacher Lee and I am from the United Kingdom the UK.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in English from the Open University in England. The English degree mainly focused on the history and usage of the English language.

I am a native English speaker and I am a certified TEFL teacher with 8 years’ experience of teaching English in Asia to students of all ages and all levels, from beginner to advanced.

I have been a teacher for Whales English for nearly 3 years.

My English classes primarily focus of pronunciation, intonation and stress. I feel it is very important for English learners to be clearly understood when they speak. I also work on building my students confidence because when their confidence is high I find their speaking and speed at which they learn English increases a great deal, and they also then enjoy learning English much more. I don’t focus on grammar, but I can explain grammar to my students when needed.

Having fun and enjoyment of classes is also very important for me because a happy and relaxed student always learns better than an unhappy student ☺

When I see my students improving their English skills and growing in confidence when they use English, I feel extremely happy and I get great satisfaction from seeing that.
