Hello, my name is Emma, I am a native English speaker, from London England in the United Kingdom. I currently live in the south of Spain, I have a Bachelor’s degree in Music and I am TEFL qualified.

I am an enthusiastic ESL teacher, I have over six years experience of teaching English as a foreign language, in both a classroom and online setting to children aged 3-13.

I have taught in academies in the south of Spain to children from the ages of 3- 9 years of age teaching English through play and sing along classes, I also taught classes that followed the Cambridge curriculum. 

I have worked for Dada abc and Whales English, online where I have delivered over 4,000 classes covering Longman elect, Oxford reading trees series, Reach and national geographic courseware to children aged from 4- 13 years of age.

Before I became an ESL teacher, I have always been teaching and inspiring young children through music, singing and drama. Where I have taught these subjects in schools up and down the country in the United Kingdom. I have always had a passion for teaching young people.

Over the years I have developed skills combining my musical background and other techniques that can help young learners to stay engaged, with the use of song, colourful props, flash cards and puppets. My teaching method consists of using lots of TPR, scaffolding and blending techniques.

My teaching philosophy is to listen and guide the student to feel positive and confident in speaking and learning English and having fun along the way. I strive to make my lessons fun and engaging so that the child doesn’t feel uncomfortable or bored and enjoys the lesson.

I will do my very best to help your child feel comfortable and proud of their learning achievements in each class and help them to build a good foundation for learning English.
