Hi my name is Teacher Marco, I am a native English speaker from the United Kingdom, but I currently live in the south of Spain.

I graduated from University with a BA honours degree in Music and I have a professional background in business management, IT and digital marketing.

My interests include cooking (this is my favourite hobby) learning languages, sports, music, travel and photography.

I hold a 120 hour TEFL certificate and I have been teaching English as a Foreign Language both offline and online for over 4 years.

Recently I worked for an online teaching platform where I delivered over 1,250 classes in one year and I taught children from the ages of 3-15 years old.

I have a huge passion for teaching children and helping them to succeed with their language learning and I am able to adapt my teaching style to all ages, levels and abilities.

My teaching method consists of using lots of TPR and scaffolding techniques to effectively teach children English. I also use word blending and phonics for young learners who are just learning to read.

I always strive to make all of my lessons fun and engaging so that the child enjoys the lesson and doesn’t feel uncomfortable or get bored, and I will give your child the encouragement they need to succeed with their English learning.

One of the best pieces of advice I would give to students is to try to speak as much as possible, as this will help them to master the language and become fluent very quickly. In addition, I will give your child lots of opportunities to talk and develop their speaking skills throughout our lessons together.
